First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win- what comes to mind

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win", comes to mind not only for XP but for Rails as well.

Nice quotes it seems. It have more deep feelings inside. Let me explain this little bit. Whenever or wherever, if some great things started to ignite, people will ignore it first and laugh. Once they made a fight, they understood their assumptions are wrong. Let me explain this more by giving you historic figures and events.

This examples are shown as per historic occurrence:

-Jesus:

They ignore him, laughed at him. Finally, what happend is the history now!

-Prophet muhammad:

Same like Jesus. Finally, he won the place in the history.

-Gandhi:

He was throwned out of the train. They ignored him. They put him in jail. After a long struggle, he won the independence for his country.

-Mandela:

Same like Gandhi. He became the president of his nation.

-Microsoft:

When microsoft dreamed about " A computer on every desk which running microsoft softwares". In that period, computer is a giant machines or workstations for research purpose and not for home purpose. But, they did it.

-Ind vs WI at 1983:

WI- West Indies unbeatable champion of world cricket at 1983 before the final. India never been considered as strong opposition. Even the record says, WI coach tell their boys that it gonna be easy winning game for them. India scored just 183.
Scoring 183 in 60 overs was job like eating sugar for West Indies batting lineup. But, history says now, India won the match.

Conclusion:

Whatever may be our position in life, trust your insights and God. You will reach your destination.
